Who ever came up with the idea of video poker has made the casinos a lot of money. Not only have they designed it to be engaging for the player, it also is a big money maker for the casinos. Video poker is popular for two reasons first, the player thinks they have a real chance to beat the house second, it’s a loners game. Now, you would think gambling is a social activity, but video poker turns the tables on that thought. Look a little closer, you see people hovered over a video poker machine like it’s only the machine and them.
You see people talking to the machines, they get attached to one machine, they get lost in playing video poker. Don’t you think the casinos like this? Of course they do because this strikes an emotional cord, a cord which keeps you playing.
