LED and LCD
It is sometimes funny that many people have conflicts regarding idea on LED and LCD televisions. More people prefer LEDS other than LCDs. Thos is evident on most LED TV Reviews. However, the common connotation of the general public regarding the two kinds of television sets in the market today is basically wrong.
LED televisions, in reality are just LCD televisions. Light Crystal Diodes or LCDs are the parents of LED TVs. The latter is just an innovation of the first one. Electronics companies keep on studying for the best products that we could have. Having a new innovation doesnt mean that the one before it has bad quality. The thing is, the newer always turns out as the better. The only difference is that they use LED lights for back lighting. Common LCD televisions use fluorescent CFL lighting. However, both employ the liquid crystal diode technology front panel. It contains what experts call twisting crystals. Twisting crystals can actually define LCD technology.
