Friday, October 14th, 2011I have to set up an appointment with my Honda Service department. My car is due for a scheduled maintenance and I definitely do not want to put this off. I have a feeling my warranty could be voided if I don’t follow their timeline although I have never asked. I’m just hoping that the work won’t take too long. I would really hate to have to do without my car. I have family coming into town and want to be able to show them around. I cannot see my dad taking public transportation though. He would just sit in my house in the air conditioning.
My doctor wants to move my scheduled c-section up. I need to see if I can coordinate this with the local Honda Service department. They are supposed to do a bunch of work to my car while I am in the hospital because I am scared to come home with a new baby and not have a car. I’m sure they will work with me. They’ve been very helpful in the past and I don’t know why this would have changed. This is an incredibly amazing and efficient service department. I’ve never come across another one that could compare with the service I receive here.

I imagine that could be because those were out of my price range anyway. After moving away from home to attend school, I was in the market for a car. Luckily I didn’t have to search high and low for the best deal because I found that in Utah Hyundai had a fabulous dealership that was so very helpful and worked with me to find the perfect car. I actually got the best of everything because the outward appearance was so attractive, but nothing compared to all of the bells and whistles on the inside. I’d imagined prior to this having to get the bottom of the line because of what I could afford, but that was not the case at all. I got an outstanding car that was well within my budget and it has been the most awesome car I’ve ever driven. I can see people checking me out, so I know that it’s a great looking car. There are just way to many things on the inside to go into detail, but trust me when I tell you that the interior of this car is amazing. It has everything that anyone could possibly want or think of. Gas mileage is fantastic, and that is probably one of my favor about my brand new car. I just love it!

Since our mortgage payment is so high, I knew that we were very limited as to what we could afford to buy, and we decided that we would look at pre-owned options rather than something fresh off the assembly line. I got to test drive each of them, and I picked out the one that I liked best.
When I went back to work after staying home with the kids for several years, I knew that I needed to get a car to drive there and back. Because of the odd work hours, I was not able to take the bus, and I needed something that I could use to take the kids around in. It was encouraging to me to find a Used Ford for sale, and it was new enough so that it had some great features and amenities. I was so happy that it was also very affordable, and now I have a fun and reliable car to drive.
I Am Going Away
Saturday, July 9th, 2011I am going away, and I am taking my cars with me. Actually, I have sold two of my cars, and I am getting a car shipping service for the other two. Moving can be rough because the new house can’t accommodate all the cars, so I picked my favorite ones to go with me. I am moving back to my mom’s house to take care of her. I do not know if or when she is going to get better, but I think that it is my duty to help her out because she was the one taking care of me when I was young. It is a little bit of a role reversal, but I think that it is worth the time. The more I get to spend with her, the less I will regret not spending time with her. I am going to get there before the car arrives so that I can receive it when it comes. This move is a bit exciting for me too. Moving back home always is!
