My Dad has a cell phone and we send each other text messages from time to time, even though I know he really does struggle to use the technology. He only just about gets how to switch it on and read text messages that he has been sent, it can be a real chore for him to compose and send his own! One thing that really winds him up is when I send text messages that have a load of texting abbreviations in because he has no idea what these actually mean. I do try and refrain from doing this when I am sending text messages to him but the trouble is that because I use them in every other text message I send it is such a bad habit that I am doing it without actually realising that I am doing it. He always just sends a question mark back and then I know what it is that I have done!

There are two main types of smaller lathes; End lathes and Spindle lathes. There is a new and somewhat controvesial service called Ed2Go. Essentially, this is a service that allows you to take classes online. Of course, there are many services that allow you to take online courses. What is different about Ed2Go? Probably the biggest difference is that Ed2Go has aligned with two and four year colleges and universites from across the country to make the classes seem more official. That means when you take an Ed2Go class, it will appear as though you are taking it from a local college in your area, even though you never set foot on campus. While this has been incredibly popular with students, there are definitely teachers that don’t care for it. They don’t like the idea of a class that wasn’t even offered on their campus being branded with their college’s name. Still, students say the classes are of very high quality.
