Credit Card Machines Can Create an Embarrassing Situation

Tim was in the mobile phone shop as he was browsing for a new phone. He wanted to know if he would be able to check his Facebook messages from his mobile phone or not. He asked the person at the counter if that was possible for the various handsets that he had shortlisted. The sales person told him that only one of the cell phones that he had selected had that feature. So this made it very easy for him to make a decision. He spent a lot of time on it and wanted to access it on the go all the time since so many of his friends would connect with him through facebook. He took out his credit card and began to make the payment for the mobile phone that he selected. The shopkeeper had a lot of problems while swiping the card as he would keep getting the same error. He requested Tim to give him another card or pay by cash. Obviously Tim was not carrying so much cash with him nor did he have another credit card. There was nothing that he could do but go back home empty handed.

Dont Post Personal Data On Networking Sites

Even though we are twins Jeff and I are totally different. We have such different taste that if he chooses east I will automatically choose west. There are very few issues where we both agree with each other’s view point. So when Jeff asked me whether I had opened an account on Facebook I immediately replied in the negative because I was aware that he was a huge Facebook fan. I felt that information on Facebook was not secure so one should never use such sites. Every month I keep on reading in the newspaper that personal information of Facebook users have been leaked so why must one take a chance with such sites. I asked Jeff that if his personal details from Facebook were ever to be leaked could he contact facebook help team for help. He replied in the negative so I told him that the day I feel that there is any networking site which can offer me the guarantee that my personal data won’t be leaked that would be the day when I would open an account.
