While it isn’t pleasant, or in most cases, convenient to be held up waiting for a train to pass, there are certain perks. For years, instead of fussing, complaining, and repeatedly looking at my watch, I have made an effort to observe the various graffiti art that passes by on train cars. Of course this is vandalism, since railroads pay good money to maintain these cars, however, some of the artwork that they display is very good. While I have never actually seen anyone decorating railroad cars, I cannot help but wonder what inspires someone to buy various cans of paint, sneak past security in rail yards, and stand for hours creating their particular style of art. *Repeat this process through the rest of the strings. The strings are arranged in order of the thickest (6th string) to the thinnest (1st string). The 5th through 1st strings should be tuned to A, D, G, B and E, respectively. Use the electric tuner as explained above to assist in tuning each of these strings.
